Ippei Baba is one of the Gridman Alliance in Gridman the Hyper Agent. He helps monitor Junk and designed Gridman's body in a program which was also used to develop Assist Weapons.
Personality
Ippei is Naoto's best friend, but not as much as his cheerful attitude and mischievousness lands him and Naoto into trouble. In contrast, he tends to flirt with other girls, but always ends up rejected and his lack of study puts himself prone to misunderstanding words, even from Naoto.
Despite lacking common sense and delicacy, Ippei proves to be a skilled programmer and artist when Junk was first brought online. He uses those skills to first design the superhero template that would eventually become Gridman's body, and later all of his arsenals for later battles.

Ippei's parents run a shop
